Indolence – September 2025 Addition of Suspended Narratives Project

Indolence is a quiet force of decay. It doesn’t just delay action; it dulls perception, erodes intention, and hollows out potential. It disguises itself as rest, but it’s a slow surrender. It’s the hand that emerges from the dark and of the dark reaching not to comfort, but to claim. It draws you in quietly, not to hold you together, but to pull you apart, slowly and without resistance. It prefers repetition, passivity, and the illusion of safety.

To act is to reclaim clarity. To create is to push back against the drift. Creating breaks the loop of passive repetition and replaces it with intention. It introduces friction, choice, and change.
